At Mission Football Academy, we are a team of varsity football coaches from the Catholic school system with decades of experience coaching at both the high school and collegiate levels. TONY MAZZARELLA III
Coach Mazzarella has over 20 years of coaching and player development experience. He began his career at Southington HS (CT) where he served in multiple capacities. A data scientist by training, as a Defense and Special Teams play caller at SHS he was an early pioneer of the use of data analytics at the high school level. He is currently the Defensive Coordinator in the Catholic School System.
FOUNDER
KENDRICK HOLSTEN
Coach Holsten brings a decade of experience as a position coach and coordinator. He began his career at Avon Old Farms School, and then entered the college ranks at Becker College (MA), then Navarro College (TX). After several years as the Defensive Coordinator at Southwest Guilford HS (NC), he returned to Connecticut as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at in the Catholic School System where he is revolutionizing the game through manipulation of space and tempo.
